Professor Catrin Tudur Smith

Catrin Tudur Smith is Professor of Medical Statistics at the University of Liverpool. She is interested in methodological research in the areas of clinical trials and evidence synthesis, particularly meta-analysis of individual participant data (IPD). Catrin enjoys working with clinical colleagues on collaborative projects including clinical trials in epilepsy, paediatrics and cancer, and evidence synthesis across a wide range of clinical areas.

Catrin is co-convenor for the Cochrane statistical methods group, co-lead for the HDS Evidence Synthesis and HTA research theme and co-director or the Liverpool EvideNce Synthesis (LENS) group. She is also research lead for HDS and represent the Department on the IPH Research and Impact Committee.
