DTP Symposium Liverpool 20-21 May 2026
The most recent DTP symposium was held at the University of Liverpool on 20–21 May, in a city well known for its iconic red-brick architecture. The event brought together our existing student cohort alongside the latest intake of PhD students, marking the programme’s fifth doctoral cohort!
The symposium opened with a series of student lightning talks, followed by a range of interactive sessions (see the agenda summary below). A notable feature of this year’s programme was the strong emphasis on student-led content, predominantly delivered by our third-year PhD researchers.
A consistent highlight of the symposium is the evening social event, which this year took place at Rudy’s, where attendees enjoyed pizza and informal networking!
